What i did when I lost my concentration in studying and decided to give my self a break..

Pictures are taken while i was studying,so that explains the glasses..Mostly are taken during midnight..

By the way,term break is over ... Just finish my classical ensemble exam and my musicianship exam..I just want to pass and hopefully get credit..

Now i just have to worry about my performance exam+harmony assignment+academic writing assignment ...

我现在有新的目标，那就是进悉尼音乐学院。我不知道我这个目标/梦想是否可以达成，也

不知道到几时才可以达成。。但是，我知到我会很努力的。因为只有这样才可以。

我知道我不是个天才，也不是个神童。可是，我愿付出。。。

1% talent, 99% hard work.. I will hang on to that phrase,and see after a while

Just some random pictures of my life here..Yep,half of the pictures here are about food..I have different varieties of snacks bcuz i buy whatever that's on sale. They mark down their prices for different stuff on different days. I normally do junk food hunting on Thursday bcuz i finish early on that day and i can drag Linh to do my shopping with me.

So yep.. here's the foodsssss...the quality of the pics are not that good bcuz : 1. lazy to bring my camera 2. lazy to charge my camera.. so yep.. all these pics are taken by dearest ♥ iPhone...

i can't believe i've been here for one month plus 8 days..Time really passes..I remembered my farewell day,yin li following me to the airport,being my helper for the day..Us..okie me, forcing zjun to faster wake up and run to my house..countless of sms from the darlings.. cousins who arrived much much much earlier in the airport than me..grandparents's tears..aunts and uncles..and last but not least mom and i running like Olympic runners bcuz we were late for the flight..

i remember my verse that day :

I WAS TOO NERVOUS THAT I FORGOTTEN TO CRY...

A lil bit ironic..but hey,we nearly missed the plane..

now i'm sitting here,in front of my lappie, taking a slight break from practicing me piano..

I am a lil bit homesick...

hey!!!
went to Chinatown with friends yesterday..lurve it there..its better than the Chinatown at Malaysia..Malaysia's Chinatown very dirty and you have to be 100% alert about your whereabouts, clinching your handbag whenever you go..

HOWEVER/TETAPI/ABER/KE SHI..

Australia's Chinatown is super different.. They have like different sections..one just for shopping, the other one for makan..Another plus thing is it is not as dirty as Malaysia..Unfortunately i was too focus at looking at stuff that I had forgotten to take pictures..next time???

I'm soooooo hapy now.... Wanna noe why... I feel soooooo childish now...lolx..I am now blogging from my iPhone in school..lolx.just brought a iPhone...like doing this 3 broadband thingy cuz prepaid is not tat worth it compare to postpaid..so yeah..me brought meself an iPhone!!!!So...since I have class for 3 hrs..and the school has free wifi...and there's no piano available... hey..its 10.30 pm here in sydney,and just finish studying how mesopotamians learn/play/teach/perform music. so yeah am now taking a break and will continue on egypt music..yay ( sarcasm laugh )..

its been almost 3 weeks..2 weeks of school..And suddenly,just seconds ago ( seriously ), i decided to write about my new resolutions..lets call them 'my sydney resolutions'.

*1.study hard! to get more scholarship $$$ ( ka ching )

2.play not so hard, in contrary of the famous student verse- study hard play harder.

3.lose weight! i lost 3 kg d. :) :) :) damn shiok lar..cuz my appetite changed,and im walking alot..but its turning cold. when its cold you eat more..so hopefully *fingers crossed* i wont gain weight.

*4.to not be careless / blur ..i need to really be 小心..

5.try not to forget chinese. "华语是华人的根，是华人的根.."

6.talk more to daddy, and both sides of grandparents..

7.learn more german.

8.try to cook a full course meal my myself,without any help..

cant think of anything else d..
and its time for me to get on with my egypt history..

sorry for not blogging in ages..was busy sorting out my life.

will not elaborate much, as i'm not free now. But will try to update as much as i can.

I'm currently studying at AICM,Sydney for my Bachelor of Music - Major in Performance and Sub major in musicology and minor in pedagogy. But mostly I focused more on the performance, as it's the main thing.

Its now the 2nd day of my class, had academic writing in the morning followed by performance class and classical ensemble. The classical ensemble has the most asians compared to the other ensembles..not being racist here..just stating the facts.

Am now preparing Schubert unfinished symphony for the classical ensemble. Am playing it together with Linh, a vietnam first year girl that i just met. So..fingers crossed and hope I don't embarrassed her and myself.

Went out to Pyramid with Yin Li as we haven't met after SPM.

Being girls,we couldn't escape the temptation of not looking at clothes.We( okay fine, me ) were so determined as I had already brought some new year clothing from UK. But the temptation of just window shopping while SALES are on is just wrong..

Our first stop: F21 but as we didn't try anything there,no pics..

me likey the shirt i'm wearing but decided not to buy..

I fell in love with this top too..

the same top yin li wore but with a different twist. If the skirt doesn't have the up-side-down 'v' then i would have like it..and it's fitting was nice..Hmnn,maybe yin li is right, the mirrors in MNG makes you look skinny..

Went for Sushi King for lunch as she had the discount card and we were both missing sushi. I remembered when I used t got out with the group, we will always go eat sushi.

AUSTRIA-- SALZBURG 16th-17th December

Woke up at 4a.m. and left London to head to Salzburg. Had breakfast in the airport, and had the BEST milkshake at one of the cafes.Didn't take any pictures at the airport/plane,because i was still sleepy..

Arrived at Salzburg ( where the sound of music was filmed ),the taxi driver was okay,spoke good english.

BIRMINGHAM, 14th December.

headed by train to Birmingham.

After we reached there,we went straight away to Birmingham Conservatoire.I was located near the library, and had a Christmas Market that day. Will tell you more bout the market later.

Birmingham C. is actually connected to Birmingham Uni,and is considered one of the top uni in UK..( i think )They had a choir concert that day to celebrate Christmas..

the songs that they ( and us ) sang was quite good,except that there were a few of the guys and girls in the choir not singing.How did I know that they were not singing?They didn't move their lips at all,but just stood there.But can hardly complain bcuz the concert was F.O.C.

After the concert and a 'grand' tour around the school,we went to explore Birmingham.

-The sausage place. You know how M'sia sausage taste like crap?The meat being not fresh,and the size being super small,than you decided that you will taste another sausage again?Well,the sausages in Birmingham (and the whole of Europh)are the goin to change your mind about sausages.The Germans make the best sausages!Even my mom ate them, so ya,it states alot.

-we finally decided to have late lunch/early dinner at a famous stall...

new year resolution(s)

I've always thought that the time goes faster every year. 2010, the double digit year 20-10..a new year , a new beginning? Will start college soon followed by uni..time goes fast right? Up to now, I'm still reminiscing my primary memories. We or mostly me, were so naive, with our nose glues on textbooks to study for our UPSR since the 3rd grade. ( Lick Hung was/is a very competitive school)

so here goes my 2010 resolutions..

1. get good grades for college/uni..

2. practice my piano and violin more..

3. teach more people music to earn more $$..

4. be less selfish,money minded, lazy.

5. call both sets of grandparents more..

6. learn more cooking recipes..

7. blog more..

8. have out with friends more..

9. try out new things..

10. watch less telly..

11. go on a strict diet..

12. exercise more..

will prob add more to the list..
lolx..

but for now, thats my new year's resolution..

13th-15th -- Stratfort upon Avon..

headed to S.U.A by train..instead of watching the scenery, i dozed of..quite a waste.. went to stay at someone's house ( bill and cita garfield ),they owned the homestaying place..the place is gorgeous, and is something like the houses you see in tropicana.. will now let the pictures do the talking..

-the breakfast that was home cooked by Bill's wife,Cita. it was not bad,dad and i had the english breakfast,while mom had the vegetarian breakfast.the vegetarian's sausage is actually called 'Stella'.

-the flock of swans and ducks.

-they have alot of bots there at the Avon River.Most of the boats were used as restaurants,galleries and stores.

-the double-decker tour bus. ( quite expensive ,they charged around 20pounds per person )

-we then went to the village.one of the shops,my most fav. shop there=the candy shop!

-the chocolate maker.

-the rows and rows and rows of candies..

stayed at Hilton, and the breakfast there is divine!!!esp the mushrooms and the cranberry juice!

on the way to the railway station to stratford...ordered seafood pasta at 5 pounds and soup of the day..my mom,my dad and i shared them,so you can imagine how big is the portion...

Less than 1 week till my SAT exam...

life is seriously really interesting..

instead of going out with friends to watch NEW MOON..i ended up reading comprehension..
instead of dieting..i ended up eating more..( my excuse: eat more,memorize more) instead of having a date with the tv drama series..i ended up having a date with my trusty calculator..

ETC...

I just want it to be over...But I want to get my good results.. Because according to my dad and to common sense..
Good results=scholarship opportunity
So im trying my best..
.And Im count-downing my SAT days or hours...
Gotta go..
Im having a date with trigonometry..

This is my first blog entry..and to those that know me will assume that i'll start the blog with something related to food or music right?Well,nope...

As you all know,I've been going on a diet so that I will not turn out even fatter after my Europe trip. So, I decided to go jogging with my parents at MPSJ at 8 in the morning. It turned out okay when I was about to go for a run after a half round walk. Then I saw something very displeasing.

There was a group of Malays surrounding something.I couldn't make out what was it at first. But after a few glances, i found out the something was actually a cow, 3 cows to be exact.

It was by then that I realized that the cows were going to be slaughtered. It was actually really sick to watch. So, my mom and I ended up not jogging as we couldn't bear to hear the sounds of the cow.

I'm usually not a liberal person. But isn't it "weird" that they are allowed to slaughter cows in a public area???

But lets just say one thing.. Thank gawd i don't eat beef..this morning's sight is still creepy..

Okay...
I won't be thinking about it anymore...(I hope)...

Its reaching midnight...got to get some sleep...
